Conciliation
Walking Together Toward Peace & Reconciliation

At Grace Matters Ministries, we believe reconciliation is at the heart of the Gospel. Conflict can be painful, draining, and spiritually heavy—but we also believe that healing is possible through Christ-centered care and guidance.

Christian conciliation is a biblically grounded process that brings trained, compassionate peacemakers alongside individuals, families, churches, or organizations who are seeking restoration in the midst of conflict. Whether the situation is personal or ministry-related, we are here to walk with you through a structured process designed to honor God, promote understanding, and rebuild trust.

Our Process

We guide each conciliation journey through five thoughtful and prayerful phases:
1. Intake: Understanding the Need
We begin by listening. In this initial step, we assess the situation to determine whether our services are a good fit. Our goal is to ensure that the process is appropriate, safe, and spiritually constructive for everyone involved.

2. Consultation & Coaching: Equipping the Heart
Before entering into formal mediation, we take time to educate and support each party. Through personal consultation and biblical coaching, we prepare everyone for what lies ahead—clarifying roles, building understanding, and laying the foundation for meaningful dialogue.

3. Preparation: Building the Right Support
Reconciliation rarely happens in isolation. We help identify the main participants in the process as well as trusted, non-participating individuals—such as pastors, mentors, or friends—who can offer encouragement and accountability.
4. Services Phase: Facilitating Reconciliation
This phase may include a combination of services such as conflict coaching, consulting, and if needed, mediation. When mediation is appropriate, we follow a gentle five-step process:
-
Beginning in Prayer
-
Sharing Each Person’s Story
-
Identifying Key Issues
-
Exploring Solutions Together
-
Summarizing Agreements and Next Steps
Throughout, our focus remains on truth, grace, and the unity Christ calls us to.
5. Follow-Up: Supporting the Journey Forward
After mediation, we don’t disappear. We offer ongoing follow-up to help ensure the resolution is lived out in a healthy and sustainable way. Restoration is not just about a moment—it’s a journey, and we’re honored to be part of it with you.

Ready to Take the First Step?
If you’re considering Christian conciliation, we’re here to help. The first step is simple: reach out to us. Once we’ve spoken with you, we’ll ask you to share our communication with all relevant parties. Each person will then have the opportunity to prayerfully consider participating.
We understand how much emotional, physical, and spiritual energy conflict can consume. Yet we are encouraged by believers like you who pursue peace and unity in obedience to Christ’s call (see Matthew 5:23–24, Matthew 7:3–5, Romans 12:16).
As you take this step, please know that we are already praying for you—and for everyone involved.
