The cornerstone of our organization is a passion for walking alongside others in order to impact transformational heart and life change. The focus found in 1 Thessalonians 5:14 to admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone is the model for Biblical Counseling, reconciling, and discipleship throughout our organization.
Each of our counselors is equipped to walk alongside in encouraging transformative life change. The deep desire to see individuals grow in their identity, created in the image of God, and have a deep and personal saving relationship with our loving Father is core to each reconciling and discipleship relationship. Emphasizing Philippians 2:1-11. Often this means facing the impact of abuse, trauma, and loss on a person’s soul.

It also means learning how to address conflict in ways that are God-honoring and biblically sound. Each of Grace Matters’ counselors are equipped to help navigate conflict with grace and humility. There is great joy found in the opportunity of growth – through – conflict reconciliation.

Biblical Peacemaking: A Special Application of Relational Wisdom
Conflict typically stresses and strains relationships. When disappointments, offenses, or unmet expectations pile up, our relationships with other people can be damaged or even destroyed. Worse yet, the bitterness and unforgiveness triggered by prolonged conflict grieves the Lord and injures our relationship with him (Isa. 59:1-2; Eph. 4:30-31). God’s solution to these problems is biblical peacemaking.
Peacemaking is how we seek to resolve our differences and restore our relationships with God and one another. To put it in terms of the RW paradigm, peacemaking is what God calls us to do when we (or other people) have slipped outside the circle of relational wisdom and need to resolve difference and restore healthy relationships with God and one each other.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Grace Matters is thrilled and so very grateful to be housed in the US Digital Outreach building. US Digital Outreach exists through the generous provision of US Digital Inc. to offset ministry overhead through the provision of facility, utilities, and services. This allows faith-based ministries to better focus on its mission and purposes God has for them. It is our hope that other businesses would consider how they can impact their community and beyond.
Grace Matters’ relationship with Truth In Love Biblical Counseling Center (TILBCC) is a partnership in encouraging and equipping future and active Biblical Counselors. TILBCC’s mission is to make practical, systematic, and historically consistent Bible training and education available and affordable to every-day believers to equip the saints for the ministry to which God has called each of them. We are also here to serve the church by providing resources for Biblical, Christ-centered education that many churches and ministries would like to but are unable to deliver.
